A warm and fun packed July !

My highlights so far this July have been working on the Women’s Euros for ITV Sport and also Goodwood's Festival of Speed.

A pleasure to be booked by Chris Hollier for ITV Sport's Women’s Euro's presentation. Operating at the Timeline Television green screen studio at Ealing, with the wonderful presenters, Laura Woods and Seema Jaswal,

Then off to a warm (and very fast) Goodwood Festival of Speed for superb motor displays and racing on the ‘Hill Climb’. Working for motor sport camera legends, Bill Wyatt and Alister McCormick, operating cameras for host coverage for production manager @Bex Butler Gravity Media/EMG UK, directed by Josh Ekstrom-Turner.

June 2025

With storytelling at it’s heart, how terrific to be part of Michael Johnson’s Grand Slam Track 2025 pilot season, with three sensational events from Jamaica, Miami and Philadelphia.

A privilege to be part of the camera team for the co-production between Momentum Broadcast and Carr-Hughes Productions.

Looking forward to the GST 2026 calendar of events around the world.

It’s been all about Speed for the first two weeks of April.

A wonderful week of action in sunny Kingston, Jamaica covering Grand Slam Track for Mark Fulton at Momentum Broadcast, directed by Clair Goodwin.

Then straight back to the delights of the 82nd Members Meeting at Goodwood, for Gravity Media, directed by Josh Turner.

An enjoyable variety of work this March !

Couple of IMAG music concerts at the Royal Albert Hall for d&b Solutions. ITV Sport’s EFL football at Portsmouth and the England vs Latvia qualifier at Wembley. Nottingham for the England Table Tennis Championships for 1080 Media. AR pedestals at Timeline’s EBC for ITV’s Six Nations Rugby. Grosvenor Hotel for the British Advertising Arrow Awards for SFL. Then finishing off the month, on the FA Cup Sixth Round, Bournemouth v Man City for ITV Sport.

New Year 2024

Wishing all my friends and colleagues all the very best for the New Year ahead.

Thank you to everyone who has helped make 2024 such a diverse, interesting and enjoyable year of studio, OB’s, SNG and IMAG work, both at home and abroad, covering studio, live events, music and sport. It’s been a great variety of enthralling work on pedestal, handheld, long lens, as camera operator, camera supervisor and lighting camera operator/DoP.

Great to work with the legends that are Osi, Jason and Craig once again on the ITV Sports presentation of the NFL London Games from both Tottenham and Wembley Stadiums.

September 2024

It’s been a  privilege and a pleasure to have worked on Whisper’s Channel 4 coverage of the Paralympic Games for Timeline TV in Paris.

As one of the freelance camera guarantee/camera operators working for Timeline, I was very fortunate to work across multiple venues, using both cabled cameras into truck and fly away kit, as well as MVP remote camera, all being directed and produced in Cardiff at Whisper's new Cymru Broadcast Centre.

August 2024

It’s been a diverse first half of this year with a comprehensive variety of work. 
My thanks to ITV Sport and Chris Hollier for the Six Nations Rugby, FA Cup, LaLiga Studio, European Championship Rugby and also to North One TV for their ITV NFL Shows and NFL London Games. Motor Racing has been engaging with both Gravity Media’s Goodwood Members Meeting and the Goodwood Festival of Speed, along with the A2RL (autonomous motor racing) in Abu Dhabi for Hayfisher. Timeline TV have kept me busy with TNT Sport’s National League Football, BBC Wales Sport and the British Basketball League’s OB’s and studio presentations. Glasgow was the venue for the  IAAF World Athletics Championships for executive producer Mark Fulton at ITN Sport, whilst ‘Fight Night Live’ boxing for TNT Sport saw me at the O2 Arena. Last January was the New Years Day Concerts around London for Cliff Webb at 1080 Media TV. White Light and d&b Solutions have kept me occupied, culminating in an impressive royal ceremony at St Paul’s. It was good to keep my hand in with SNG and WMT whilst covering both the Euro Fan Zone for BBC Sport and also ‘The Nation Decides’ election coverage for C4. However my two favourite jobs of the year so far have been the Anniversary Celebrations in Jordan and the recent State Opening of Parliament, both for BBC Events.
Many thanks to everyone who have kept me gainfully employed and to all the colleagues that I have worked with.

Busy month or two…

Camera Supervisor for BT Sport’s ‘Early Morning Kick-off’ and ‘BT Sport Score’ shows in Studio One and also their Champions League Shows, Champions League Goal Shows and Europa League Shows from Studio Two, all at Stratford Studios.

Working for Timeline OB’s on Verizon’s ‘Open House’. Supervising the EE talent show ‘Retail Stars’ for Andy Reid and a one off ‘Mental Awareness’ show presented by Rio Ferdinand, with special guest Fearne Cotton.

Camera Supervisor for Whisper, on their BBC NFL series and the ‘According to Osi and Jason’ NFL webcast. 

More eSport from the Red Bull Gaming Sphere for 1080 Media. Followed by the Evening Standard Theatre Awards from the Coliseum Theatre and also the Amazon Prime Goals Show from the Stratford studios.

Not to forget covering the General Election, for Eurovision from Westminster and the State Opening of Parliament, for BBC Events.
