I have vast expertise of both single and multi-camera television. My portfolio of work is very varied, with excellent skills of both hand held, long lens and lighting production. I have many years of experience of Studio, Outside Broadcasts and Documentary filming.
I started at London Weekend Television in 1977, training as a studio and OB cameraman. In 1987 I became a lighting cameraman, filming across the whole of the channels output, working on many award-winning shows (from South Bank Show to Weekend World).
In 1991, I went freelance allowing me to broaden my portfolio of work, shooting for all the major broadcasters, both at home and abroad.
Having 16mm film experience as well as video, I have occasionally worked on both commercials and short features.
Many of the productions I have worked on have won awards and I was honored by the Guild of TV Cameramen, for my work on the BBC's ‘Birding with Bill Oddie’ series.
In recent years I have had the opportunity to work on many notable major events, including The Commonwealth Games, The Queen Diamond Jubilee, Royal Weddings and the Olympic Games in Beijing and London.
